Jonathan is a Research Engineer (Mechanical and Fluid Dynamics) in the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence (MEECE). Having attained a master’s degree (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering, he established his professional career in the Civil Aerospace industry, working on the development of high-bypass turbofan engines.

Jonathan brings to the team a robust knowledge of mechanical systems design and integration, combined with experience in product development, testing, simulation, and root cause analysis (RCA).  As an avid sailor, he also has significant practical experience in the marine environment, particularly the waters of the Welsh coast, Bristol Channel, and Irish Sea.
