Arne is the Lead Engineer in the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence (MEECE) where he manages the engineering team to provide technical solutions to marine energy and related challenges.

The last 13 years Arne has spent in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, leading a marine energy research group, and also running his own marine services company. As a chartered Mechanical and Marine Engineer, Arne has been involved in a wide range of both onshore and offshore wave and tidal energy projects, including commercial diving, ROV operations, general data acquisition, small marine construction works and salvage.
